A long time ago, there lived three young princesses in the Kingdom of Gloria. Isabelle was the youngest of the three sisters.
She was a kind and warm person to the people she met along her way. The other two sisters, Rose and Juliette, were very beautiful but cruel and heartless.
Isabelle always played with her dolls and did not care much about her appearance.
Rose and Juliette always teased Isabelle, and she felt very lonely.
Their father, King Paul, loved Isabelle the most.
On a bright summer morning, King Paul told his three daughters that a prince named Geoffrey from the Kingdom of Minilla was on his way to the Kingdom of Gloria in search of a bride. Rose, Juliette, and Isabelle were really excited to meet Prince Geoffrey.
Prince Geoffrey first spoke with Juliette. He praised Juliette for her hair, but he got bored when she only talked about her hair and nothing else. Then Geoffrey began talking with Rose. She tried to impress him by telling him about the achievements of her father’s kingdom and all the famous noblemen and knights they had. Prince Geoffrey got bored again and finally looked at Isabelle.
Prince Geoffrey looked at Isabelle and told her that she was very beautiful. Isabelle blushed.
Then Juliette and Rose said, “She is not beautiful! She is ugly! Her hair! It is so messy and tangled!”
“It’s the eyes,” said Prince Geoffrey. “She has the most beautiful eyes.”
“But she plays with toys!” Juliette continued.
Rose and Juliette did everything to embarrass Isabelle, but the prince remained relentless.
“So what? I play with dolls myself. I have one here! Her name is Jane, and she is my oldest friend,” he said, pulling a small doll out of his pocket.
“Would you like to meet my friends, Prince Geoffrey?” asked Isabelle.
“I would love to,” said Prince Geoffrey. They went out into the garden and began playing with dolls, leaving Rose and Juliette behind.
Geoffrey and Isabelle got married and lived happily ever after.
