Mr. Deer has a very interesting way of teaching swimming.
Mr. Deer grew up by the sea and is an excellent swimmer.
In one breath, he can swim from one island to another.
When he’s in the water, he can dive deep to the ocean floor and glide around like a fish.
Everyone wants to learn how to swim from Mr. Deer.
Except for one.
“No, I don’t want to go in the water,” Adam said, bursting into tears until he almost filled a swimming pool with them.
“Don’t be afraid, look at me!” Mr. Deer jumps into the water.
Although Mr. Deer is a chubby man, he moves as light as a butterfly when he swims the butterfly stroke.
Next, Mr. Deer swam backstroke for a while.
He looked as if he was sleeping on the water, completely relaxed and basking in the surface.
Then, Mr. Deer started waving his arms like a windmill.
Finally, Mr. Deer swam breaststroke. When Adam saw him doing that, he laughed wildly.
However, Adam still didn’t want to go into the water.
“No, I won’t go in the water. I’m scared,” he shouted loudly.
Mr. Deer thought for a moment and went into his house. A few minutes later, he came out with an interesting tool.
“Look what I made! I call it the ‘swim ring’!” He smiled at everyone with a bright smile. He gave Adam the “swim ring” and placed it around his waist.
“Slowly get into the water,” Mr. Deer encouraged Adam.
Adam carefully stepped into the water. As he entered, he realized he was floating!
Adam was thrilled and began bouncing and splashing in the water.
Moments later, he started swimming around.
“What’s that lovely smell? It smells like candy or chocolate,” he wondered.
Adam followed the scent and finally realized it was coming from the “swim ring” Mr. Deer gave him.
Adam couldn’t resist, so he licked the swim ring. It turned out the swim ring was made of chocolate candies!
Bite after bite, Adam nibbled away at the swim ring. Eventually, the swim ring was completely eaten.
Adam fell straight into the water.
“Help, Mr. Deer, teach me how to swim!” Adam screamed.
“My goodness!” Mr. Deer jumped into the water with a huge splash to help Adam.
Mr. Deer knew how to keep Adam afloat and also taught him the swimming technique.
Adam quickly learned how to swim.
“It’s not that hard to learn how to swim!” Adam said proudly as he ate the last piece of the “swim ring.”
The story spread quickly, and more children came to Mr. Deer to learn how to swim. Everyone wanted Mr. Deer’s “swim ring!”
“Should I sell swim rings instead of teaching swimming?” Mr. Deer thought to himself.
