Peppa’s Rainy Day Parade

Peppa’s Rainy Day Parade

It had been raining all morning in Peppa Pig’s world. Big raindrops splashed on the windows, and puddles were forming everywhere outside. Peppa and George sat by the window, looking out at the gray sky.

“I wanted to play outside,” Peppa sighed. “But the rain won’t stop!”

George held his toy dinosaur and pointed to the puddles outside. “Dine-saur splash!” he said excitedly.

Mummy Pig smiled as she brought them warm cocoa. “Why don’t you make the best of it?” she said. “Rainy days can be fun too!”

Peppa thought for a moment, then had an idea. “Let’s have a rainy day parade!” she exclaimed. George clapped his hands, and even Daddy Pig looked intrigued.

Peppa and George put on their rain boots and coats, and soon they were outside splashing in the puddles. “Let’s invite everyone!” Peppa said. George nodded enthusiastically and began roaring like a dinosaur.

Peppa and George ran to Suzy Sheep’s house. “Come to our rainy day parade!” Peppa said. Suzy giggled and grabbed her umbrella. “I’ll bring my rain hat!”

Next, they stopped by Danny Dog’s house. “There’s going to be a parade in the rain!” Peppa said. “I’ll bring my drum!” Danny barked, wagging his tail.

Soon, Rebecca Rabbit, Pedro Pony, and Candy Cat had joined, each bringing something special for the parade. Rebecca had a flag, Pedro brought his whistle, and Candy carried a bright, colorful umbrella.

The group marched through the muddy puddles, laughing and singing. Danny played his drum, Pedro blew his whistle, and Peppa led the way, jumping in the biggest puddles she could find. George roared happily, pretending to be a dinosaur stomping in the mud.

As they paraded past the duck pond, even the ducks joined in, quacking in time with the music. “This is the best rainy day ever!” Peppa shouted.

When the rain finally stopped, the sky turned bright and blue. A beautiful rainbow stretched across the horizon. “Look!” Suzy said, pointing to the rainbow.

“It’s like a reward for our parade,” Daddy Pig said, laughing as he watched the children play.

Peppa smiled at her friends. “Rainy days aren’t so bad after all,” she said. “Especially when you have a parade!”

That night, as Peppa and George dried off and snuggled into bed, they dreamed of puddles, parades, and rainbows.

Goodnight, little puddle-jumper. May your dreams be as colorful as a rainbow!
