Once upon a time, there was a fierce conflict between the Birds and the Beasts. Both sides were determined to win, and the battle raged on. In the midst of this turmoil lived a Bat, who found herself in a peculiar position.
The Bat did not want to take sides. When the Birds invited her to join them, she claimed to be a Bird, flapping her wings and chirping along. However, when the Beasts called upon her, she quickly changed her tune and insisted that she was a Beast,
running with them and roaring in agreement.
As the war continued, the Bat tried to play both sides, hoping to remain neutral and avoid the consequences of choosing. But when the fighting finally came to an end, the Bat sought to celebrate with both the Birds and the Beasts. To her surprise, they rejected her. The Birds remembered her allegiance to the Beasts, and the Beasts recalled her claims of being a Bird.
In the end, the Bat found herself alone, shunned by both groups. She learned the hard way that her indecisiveness and lack of loyalty left her without friends. From that day on, she lived in the shadows, only coming out at night, forever marked by her inability to choose a side.
The moral of the story is clear: those who do not stand firm in their beliefs may find themselves without allies.
