The Dinosaur Tomb

Today was Freja’s birthday, and she got a new computer game from her mom and dad.

“Dinosaur Tomb!” said Freja. “Cool! It’s exactly what I wanted!”

Freja decided to try her new game right away. She turned on the computer, inserted the game, and looked at the screen. A strange icon appeared. Freja clicked on the icon.

BOOM!!

“Where am I?” said Freja.

“You are inside the Dinosaur Tomb,” said the boy next to her. “We have to find old dinosaur bones.”

Freja couldn’t understand it at all, and she thought it was an amazing computer game and decided to play along.

“Here’s one!” said Freja. She picked up a golden bone that was hidden under a bush.

“No!” shouted the boy. “You mustn’t pick up the golden ones! Watch out for the dinosaur!”

Suddenly, they heard a sound behind them. The ground began to shake. They heard a dinosaur roar.

“RUN!” Freja and the boy ran quickly through the bushes, but the dinosaur was getting closer. Freja and the boy hid behind a bush.

“What will happen if the dinosaur catches us?” asked Freja.

“Well, then the game is over! But I have three lives left. How many do you have?”

“Only one!”

“ROAR!” The dinosaur had found them! “Look!” shouted Freja. There was the same icon she saw on her computer. Freja touched the icon. BOOM!!

Freja was home, sitting at her computer. She looked at the game. “Hmmm. Maybe I’ll play a different game.”
