In a small village, where the autumn leaves danced in the wind and the moon shone mysteriously on Halloween night, there lived a very special pumpkin named Gogo. Gogo wasn’t like the other pumpkins that were carved into scary faces and placed on porches with candles inside. No, Gogo was known as the Laughing Pumpkin, and it had a very special gift — it could tell the funniest jokes anyone had ever heard.
On this particular Halloween night, the children of the village were out trick-or-treating, going from door to door to collect sweets. But they all knew that the best stop on their route was at Gogo, the Laughing Pumpkin. Gogo was dressed up with a big smile and a twinkle in its eye, ready to share joy with every visitor.
As a group of children approached, Gogo blinked cheerfully at them and said, “Hey kids, would you like to hear a funny joke?”
The children nodded eagerly, and with a wide grin, Gogo asked,
“Where do monsters get their honey from?”
The children thought for a moment, and then one of them shouted,
“From Zom-bees!”
Gogo burst out laughing, and soon the whole group joined in with cheerful giggles. Gogo continued sharing jokes with everyone who stopped by, and soon the entire village had gathered around the Laughing Pumpkin, laughing and telling jokes together.
Even the ghosts and witches flying through the night stopped to listen to a joke or two. Gogo’s laughter filled the night with joy and smiles, making this Halloween one of the most memorable ever.
And so, Gogo the Laughing Pumpkin became a beloved village tradition. Every year, on Halloween night, people would gather around Gogo to hear its jokes and laugh together. For as everyone in the village knew, there’s nothing like a good laugh to bring people together and spread happiness on Halloween.
