Timmy the Turtle and Peter the Parrot were out in the forest one day, playing together. As they wandered into a part of the woods they had never explored before, they spotted a spooky old house in the distance.
“Do you think it’s haunted?” asked Timmy the Turtle.
“I don’t know, but it sure looks scary!” said Peter the Parrot.
They were both brave and very curious about the house, so they decided to go closer and investigate.
They knocked on the door, but no one answered. After waiting for a moment, they decided to open it themselves. The door creaked loudly as it slowly swung open.
The two adventurous friends tiptoed through the creepy old house when suddenly they heard a deep growling sound.
“Oh no! It’s Frankenstein! Run!”
Brave Timmy the Turtle and brave Peter the Parrot dashed through the house as fast as they could.
But truthfully, they weren’t really scared at all. They were calm – and actually having a lot of fun!
Then suddenly, they heard a loud commotion coming from the dining room.
“Oh no! It’s a zombie!”
“We have to hide!”
Once again, brave Timmy the Turtle and brave Peter the Parrot ran through the house, with Frankenstein and a zombie chasing close behind.
And once again, they weren’t scared at all – they laughed and thought it was great fun!
Soon, they ran into a room where there was a wooden chest sitting on the floor. They hurried over to see what was inside.
It was a skeleton!
“Oh no! It’s a skeleton!” they both shouted as they ran off again through the house – now with Frankenstein, a zombie, and a skeleton all chasing after them.
Now they tried to find the front door so they could finally go home. They quickly found it, pulled it open, and standing outside was their very best friend, Wendy the Witch.
“Hello, you two,” said Wendy the Witch.
“Are you ready to come home and play?”
“Yes!” shouted Timmy the Turtle and Peter the Parrot together.
And on the way home, they told Wendy all about the exciting things they had seen inside the haunted house.
